By the grace of God, with the help of you, we had commitments from over 80 golfers and raised over $40,000 in Gifts and Sponsors last year. After our cost, the food pantry received $15,000!!! That was awesome, and now we are planning the 3rd Annual Gof Outing and we know that with the momentum of last year's event, it is inevitable that we are going to raise more for the food pantry, which is feeding over 750 families a month.
This year we are to open 2 more food pantries in Monmouth and Ocean counties to help more people who are in need.
Planning has already begun for the 3rd Annual Golf Invitational on Monday, August 10, 2009. All suggestions are welcomed and will be discussed at our committee meetings, which are held at the Food Pantry (236 Brick Blvd. Brick, NJ).
